Did you know that a wolf is the symbol of Rome. Because there is a legend that an evil king tried to kil baby twins called Romulos and Remus. By throwing them in the Tiber River. When the boys were washed ashore a female wolf found them and raised the boys. When the boys grew up they defeated the evil king and they found Rome!!

Did you know that the Arctic skies have streamed of colored dancing lights called auroras. watch it on encarta. It is amazing.

I didn't know about the legend of Rome and the rankings of wolves -- i am learning now.

Did you know that in the Arctic the skies are sometimes filled with colorful dancing lights called Auroras. They look beautiful and magical. Check out the Encarta it has an amazing video clip.

Dear Ms.Heeru,
Did you know that there is such thing as a wolf spider. It is about 10 times smaller and doesn't look anything like a wolf. It looks like a gray Turantula. It looks creepy.

I totally agree with u maya and anisha-I hat the the sight of spiders,let alone gray tarantulas.
It just gives me the shivers thinkikg about it.

a pack is so if you hunt by your self you will be injered or die and so with a pack you will get the hunt.

arctic wolves (like the ones in the book)have somthing like a mat under there fur that makes sure that no body heat excapes.

Where did you get that information from, i didn't know that the mat like layer kept the animals warm, no wonder the eskimos made their mittens and clothes out of animal skin and fur.

A wolf has 42 teeth, a female wolf is pregnant for 9 weeks. Lastly wolf is considered the largest member of the wild canine family.
